The German Sidewalk Dance. A panel from sample comics for a Berlin expat magazine. The series ultimately never got green lighted but I liked this rude crowd drawing. My buddy Deenah Vollmer wrote this story about getting slammed around on the U-Bahn.

Preview drawing for a review of Michael Chabon’s Telegraph Ave. Probably needs more babes.

Sampler sheet for a mascot design. I don’t think any of these are going to get used, but I like them.

More comic time at The Hairpin. The stiff black panel frames are an experiment. Are they good, or are they bad? Another experiment was dramatic stippling, which doesn’t show up in this frame, but you can see a tiny bit in the rest of the story. I was reading Wendel by Howard Cruse right before I made this and decided to push myself to hatch n’ shadow more.

The stirring conclusion to Stacy’s Mom. There’s one more beat, and no room to run it. Maybe I’ll put it on a tote bag or something and that’ll be the only way to finish reading this comic.
